Last November, YouTube began meeting with brands and agencies to discuss exclusive sponsorship opportunities in the works for the ever-expanding platform.
Toyota, along with a handful of other brands, is already moving forward with plans for multiple, television-like YouTube channels, which will uniquely connect consumers with content that is relevant and meaningful to them. Presently, the package of Toyota backed channels will include “Cafe Mom,” “Kin Community” and “Mom’s View,” in addition to “eHow” and “Foodie,” just to name a few.
Unilever, AT&T, GM, Chrysler, and Lowes, make up some of the other brands on board to sponsor exclusive YouTube channels of their own. Click HERE, for more on this news.
